Different forms create different attention
An essay asks the reader to follow an argument. A song can repeat one phrase until it becomes a feeling, a joke, a warning or a memory. That difference is one reason I enjoy moving between writing and lyrics.
A hook can hold an observation
In “O Meri Machino,” the machine metaphor gives anger, hate, jealousy and drama a playful repeated form. The lyric does not try to explain those behaviors clinically. It exaggerates them into a recognizable pattern.
Meaning can be serious without sounding heavy
Humor and rhythm can create enough distance to look at behavior that would otherwise feel confrontational. A line can be light in tone while still pointing at something real.
The page remains part of the work
Publishing lyrics with background, authorship information and a certificate gives the song a documented home even before or alongside a finished recording. The website becomes an archive of the creative process, not just a promotional surface.
